Gender Equality
One of the established standards within the IRTG 1911 is the coaching of female scientists. At the event "Take the Chance - Find your Coach", organized by the excellence cluster PMI, experienced coaches will personally introduce themselves and answer questions about individual coaching in the context of a scientific career. Costs for following sessions are covered by the IRTG 1911.
Together with the RTG1957 and the RTG1727 the IRTG organizes gender specific workshops, covering the topics on coaching for female scientists, career planning and application training. Additionally the (I)RTGs organize the "Gender Equality Seminar Series" with female guest speakers talking about their career paths and career opportunities for female scientits.
